HOST A GIFT WRAPPING GIRLS NIGHT

I always love any reason to get my girlfriends together this time of year. Most of us are busy moms so our free time is extremely limited especially during the holiday season! I decided to host a gift wrapping girls night in so we could spend time together and get our presents wrapped in the process! Multitasking at it’s finest. I’m partnering with Stage Stores to share my tips for hosting a low key gift wrapping girls night!

SMALL GIFTS ARE BEST

For this type of get together it’s best to be clear about what size and how many gifts they can bring. I know it sounds silly but for the sake of table size, small size boxes are best. When you’re inviting them over, tell them something along the lines of - bring five small presents to

KEEP IT SIMPLE

I put together a cheese board to snack on while wrapping and filled a decanter with an easy drinking red wine. I always think more is better when it comes to assembling a cheese board. I love to load it up with fruit, crackers and pre-sliced cheese to save time. This round wooden paddleboard is perfect for cheese boards or displaying small appetizers! I’ve been on the hunt for a new decanter and I was instantly drawn to the shape and detail on this personalized decanter. I’m a huge fan of stemless wine glasses because somehow the stem glasses get broken around here. This personalized sets has a great shape, too! All you need is yummy snacks, good wine and great company. No need to overcomplicate it when you’re having your girlfriends over!

CHOOSE A COLOR SCHEME

You want to give your friends a variety of wrapping paper, ribbons and gift tags to use to wrap their presents. I like to keep everything in the same color scheme so they can mix and match but everything still goes together!
