Today I’m sharing how to spruce up any porch or patio with a DIY living greenery wall with Devine Color by Valspar! I’ve seen several variations of a greenery wall floating around and when we redecorated our screened in porch a few months ago, I knew it would be the perfect addition to the space.
Two weeks ago today this little business of mine turned four years old! This post might be a tad late since we're currently in the trenches of this home remodel project, but I've learned a lot over the last few years that I want to share so better late than never, right?!
It's no secret I love a tasty cocktail and when I found out I was pregnant this spring, I started trying out different mocktails so I could have something festive to sip on. And honestly, I haven't missed the real deal yet!
Today I'm sharing one of my go-to summer recipes, grilled flatbreads! We spend a lot of evenings outside during the summer (thank goodness for our screened porch!) and while we use the grill year round, there's something about summer nights that make you want to dine al fresco. I like to keep things simple when grilling and let the fresh ingredients do all the talking. The great thing about this recipe is you can follow the basics but switch things up depending on what's in season.
If you saw my announcement on Sunday, you know we're having a BABY! This has been such an exciting week sharing the news with all of you and receiving so many sweet messages back. This was definitely the toughest secret to keep and the reason I went a little MIA on Insta Stories for the last month or so. I knew if I slipped up and shared about how tired I was or that I didn't feel well it would be a red flag and we wanted to wait until our most recent appointment to share the BIG news!
I can't think of a better way to kick off summer than with a colorful poolside party! As the temperatures heat up in Houston, most of our summertime activities revolve around the water. Even if it’s an impromptu happy hour after work, I always try to make even the most simple gathering memorable. Today I'm teaming up with INC x Popsicle to share five things you need to make your poolside party a success!
I'm super excited to bring you my second summer inspired post for the week, just in time for Memorial Day weekend! One of my favorite lunch spots in Houston, Local Foods has a crunchy chicken sandwich and it's one of my favorite things on the menu. The chicken is crusted with potato chips and the pretzel bun is freshly baked, it's seriously SO good! I wanted to recreate a similar version at home and I couldn't think of a better time to try it than Memorial Day!
Memorial Day is this weekend which mean the official kick off to summer and I couldn't be more excited! Even though I don't appreciate the 90 plus degree days in my near future, I love the bright colors, ice cold cocktails and vibrant flavors associated with summer. Today I'm sharing a festive prickly pear margarita recipe inspired by a cocktail I made for an event at Elaine Turner last month.
